STIMULI MY FIRST HAND-GRIP BALL

Most balls assume a baby can already grip. This one does not.

My First Grip Ball is built from large, fluffy petal-shaped panels that stand proud of the body, so a newborn hand can hook into it before a real grasp has formed. It measures around 12.5 cm, light enough to lift and big enough to hold with both hands.

Pull the small cat's head and the ball vibrates softly for a few seconds. Babies work out the connection quickly, and it becomes one of the first things they choose to make happen. Velvet and micro-velvet panels in high-contrast prints give the eyes and fingers different information at the same time.

A ribbon loop lets it hang from a pram or play arch, and the whole ball is machine washable.

Stimuli is Kaloo's early-development range, created with psychomotor therapists to give babies the right sensory input at the right stage.
