RABBIT RATTLE BALL CREAM

A cream velvet ball, roughly 6 cm across, with a bell sewn inside. It is light enough for a newborn to lift and soft enough to mouth, and shaking it produces an immediate, gentle sound. That connection between movement and noise is one of the first things a baby chooses to repeat.

The 16 cm ears are what makes it practical rather than just pretty. Knot them around a pram bar, a cot rail, a car seat handle or the strap of a changing bag and the rattle travels with you.
