Bath time negotiations end here.

This is a bath book printed with heat-reactive ink. Submerge it in water at 32 degrees or above and illustrations that were not there a moment ago appear across the pages. Take it out, let it cool, and they vanish again, ready to be discovered all over again the next night.

Joe the dragon has his own rather unorthodox ideas about how a wash should be done. The pages are soft neoprene, so the book floats, wipes clean and survives a bathroom in a way board books simply do not. It is light and flexible enough for a toddler to hold and turn the pages while sitting in the water.

Lilliputiens is a Belgian brand, founded in 1995 and designed by a team largely made up of parents working alongside early-childhood specialists. Tested to EN71 and ASTM standards and screened for AZO dyes, cadmium and phthalates.

THE PAGES CHANGE IN THE WATER - Dip the book in water at 32 degrees or warmer and hidden illustrations appear on the pages. Lift it out and they fade again, ready for tomorrow night. Children ask for the bath after this.

A REAL STORY, NOT A GIMMICK - Joe the dragon has his own rather unorthodox ideas about how a wash should be done. The reveal is what makes it land, which is why it holds attention longer than a plain bath toy.

BUILT FOR WATER - Soft neoprene pages that float, wipe clean and will not go soggy or grow mouldy the way board books do. Chosen specifically because it is the material that survives a bathroom.

EASY FOR SMALL WET HANDS - Light, flexible and sized for a toddler to hold and turn the pages themselves while sitting in the bath. No sharp edges and nothing to swallow.

TURNS BATH TIME INTO STORY TIME - Joe's world comes to life the moment the pages hit the water. A genuinely useful gift for a child who resists the bath, and a favourite with parents for exactly that reason.
