A first book with a teether attached, which is a more sensible design than it sounds.

At six months a baby wants to chew whatever you hand them, including books. Building the teething ring into the book means the thing they want in their mouth and the thing you want them looking at are the same object.

Every page has something going on: crinkle sounds, different fabrics under the fingers and bright prints pitched at developing eyesight. It props open for tummy time and folds flat for the changing bag.

Outer 100% polyester, inner 100% recycled polyester, EVA teething ring. Machine washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle.

Lilliputiens is a Belgian brand, founded in 1995 and designed by a team largely made up of parents working alongside early-childhood specialists. Tested to EN71 and ASTM standards and screened for AZO dyes, cadmium and phthalates.

A BOOK WITH A TEETHING RING BUILT IN - The ring is attached to the book, so the thing they want to chew and the thing you want them to look at are the same object. Simple and effective.

SOUND, TEXTURE AND COLOUR ON EVERY PAGE - Crinkle elements to hear, varied fabrics to feel and bright prints to look at. A baby who cannot follow a story still has plenty to do.

A DRAGON TO EXPLORE - Joe is the magician of the gang, working spells out of his grandfather Walter's old books.

SOFT AND FULLY WASHABLE - Outer 100% polyester with recycled polyester inside and an EVA teething ring. Nothing to tear, nothing to swallow. Machine washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle.

PRAM, COT OR CHANGING BAG - Light and flexible enough to go anywhere, which is what makes a fabric book more useful in practice than a board book. Tested to EN71 and ASTM standards and screened for AZO dyes, cadmium and phthalates.
